Indulge in the timeless tradition of Christmas with an authentic 19th-century family recipe from the National Trust of Australia (Victoria) collection.

This decadent pudding originates from a handwritten family cookbook, compiled before 1836 and brought to Victoria by the Tuckwell sisters in the mid-1850s. Caroline Tuckwell, who later married Charles Armytage, the owner of Como House, in 1856, helped preserve this treasured recipe.
